Beginning seven years ago, Bulldogs on the Cuyahoga has grown to become Summer on the Cuyahoga (SOTC), a unique summer internship program open to students of Case, Colgate, Smith, University of Chicago and Yale. The program brings together 50 students for an intensive summer immersion program designed to help interns explore the professional, civic, and social offerings of the Cleveland area. SOTC offers students challenging internships, community introductions, alumni connections, and group housing for the summer.

Students: You MUST apply on BOTH the eRecruiting site and the Summer on the Cuyahoga website (www.summeronthecuyahoga.com) for SOTC internships.

PLEASE NOTE: EACH STUDENT ACCEPTING A POSITION IN THE PROGRAM WILL BE ASKED TO PAY A $100 ENROLLMENT FEE. The amount will be due prior to arriving in Cleveland for the summer and is non-refundable.

International Students:   You will need to apply for permission from immigration to work off campus (Optional Practical Training) to engage in a BAA internship. OPT applications can take up to three months for immigration to process, so advance planning is required.  These applications must be submitted through the Office of International Students and Scholars. For full information on the OPT application process go to http://www.yale.edu/oiss/immigration/common/f1students/opt.html or contact monica.weeks@yale.edu
